This is a lovely, smooth contemporary looking scroll head mounting that makes use of a half-bezel central head to display the unusual fancy shaped brilliant faceted golden Citrine! The central Citrine weighs 2.68 CT, is 11x7mm in size, and it is flanked by two trapezoid-shaped, 3x7mm, brilliant faceted darker Madeira Citrines each weighing approx. .41CT (combined weight of .82CT for side stones). The smooth, rounded facing side of the band features slightly pinched shoulders and a width of at least 3mm at its widest point. All together, this is a stylish, unique ring, perfect for fall/winter. The 14K yellow gold band has a weight of approx. 4.6g.

TREATMENTS:  High heat to affect the color change from colorless or pale purple to yellow or deep golden/orange-golden.

CARE:  Color change is permanent. However, avoid close, intense heat, such as a jeweler's torch, which may alter color again. Avoid sudden or extreme temperature change, which can cause fracturing. Citrine is soluble in hydrofluoric acid and ammonium fluoride, and slightly so in alkalis. Do not clean with steam, although ultrasonic or Ionic cleaning is fine, or clean by hand in warm water with mild soap and soft brush, or use an appropriate cleaner such as Jewel Brite or Quik Brite (sold on this site) for optimum results. Toughness is good for general everyday wear.
